A 34-year-old Barrie man was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital after city police responded to a Mary Street address downtown around 1:45 Tuesday morning about an injured person.

Police began a search of the area that led to a residence on Maple Avenue, where officers detained three people, who were later released.
