Barrie Police nab ‘red-gloved bandit’ after fourth convenience store hold-up in same day

Same store hit three times in 16 hours

He was three times lucky, but the fourth was not a charm.

Barrie Police have arrested and charged a 24-year-old man in a series of hold-ups at two convenience stores.

The suspect – characterized by the red gloves he wore – hit the Circle K at 149 Dunlop Street East twice Thursday morning at 6:50 and again at 10:17.

At 3:17 p.m. the Circle K at 151 Bayfield Street was held-up.

Then at 10:40 last night, they believe the same man robbed the store on Dunlop Street for a third time. In this case, he wore black gloves.
