Barrie police are trying to identify suspects regarding an assault that sent a man to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
On Monday around 12:50 a.m., officers responded to 87 Dunlop Street East for a report of a fight involving a 58-year-old man and a group of three male suspects and a female.
Police say the victim sustained serious facial injuries.
"He was immediately transported to a local hospital by the County of Simcoe Paramedic Services and was later transported by air ambulance to a Toronto area trauma centre where he remains at this time," officers wrote in a release.
