Barrie police continue to piece together a single-vehicle crash that sent a pickup truck over an embankment at 362 Georgian Drive, in the parking area of the Arcadian Students apartment complex.

"The pickup truck actually landed upside down," said Barrie police communications coordinator Peter Leon.

Officers were alerted just before midnight on Sunday about the crash.

The vehicle went through a fence before going over the embankment.

Leon said two males that were in the pickup fled and two females remained on scene. One was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

He added that one of the males who was the driver has since been in contact with police.

"There are some investigative irregularities regarding this investigation. We are still in the process of trying to put everything back together."
