Barrie police and tactical team members responded to a south-end home in the area of Yonge Street and Little Avenue on Tuesday afternoon in response to a report that a weapon was seen during a disturbance at a home.
A 27-year-old Barrie man was eventually arrested and is facing numerous weapons-related charges.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing on Thursday.
