Many gathered in downtown Barrie on Monday morning for the Remembrance Day parade and ceremony.

The parade marched along Dunlop Street, starting at Mulcaster Street and headed towards the Five Points intersection.

The ceremony took place at the Cenotaph in Memorial Square, with a Feu De Joie (blank gunfire rifle salute), two minutes of silence at 11 a.m., and then the laying of wreaths.

Below are photos that captured the event, via Michael Chorney (At the Scene Photography).
