A Barrie resident is facing charges of stunt driving and speeding after being caught travelling at twice the posted speed limit in Essa Township.

OPP say officers with the traffic unit were conducting patrols on the 8th Line, south of County Road 21, when they stopped a vehicle clocked travelling 120 km/h in a posted 60-zone.

The 29-year-old driver's licence was suspended for 30 days, and their vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
