A 39-year-old man has been charged with mischief after a road rage incident in Barrie.

Around 7:30 Thursday night, police say a motorcycle driver became enraged at the way a car was being driven in front of him on Bayfield Street.

As the vehicles made their way onto Ferris Lane, police say the motorcycle driver got off his bike and punched the driver's side window of the other vehicle multiple times, and then smashed off the side view mirror.

The accused has a court date next month.
