Barrie to offer ice time, other pre-booked activities, at select recreation facilities as of next week

badminton, pickleball, volleyball, and basketball time slots available as of November 2

You might be able to get a little shinney in at some of Barrie’s recreation centres soon, but you’ll have to book ahead.

The City of Barrie is expanding recreation services as select centres as of November 2, allowing residents of Simcoe and Muskoka to reserve a time online for public skates, stick and puck hockey, and open gym time. Time blocks for programs like badminton, pickleball, volleyball, and basketball will also be available.

Participants are asked to bring their own equipment, such as a volleyball, and are encouraged to come dressed for the activity as much as possible.

Pre-book your timeslot online before attending any recreation facility.
