Two people were charged, and search warrants were carried out in Barrie and Vaughan as part of an investigation that began in early fall into drug trafficking in Collingwood.
On Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, police arrested a man, age 24, and a woman, age 32, both of Collingwood.

Immediately following the arrests, investigators executed four separate search warrants in Vaughan and Barrie. Police say they seized 511.3 grams of suspected cocaine, 417.4 grams of suspected fentanyl, 80 grams of suspected oxycodone and three firearms
The female suspect was charged with a pair of drug trafficking offences, and the male is up on drug trafficking, weapon and firearm charges.
The accused were both held for a bail hearing.
