Over $70,000 raised by Youth Haven's Coldest Night of the Year

Money raised will help at-risk youth, and homeless youth, in Barrie, Orillia, and across Simcoe County
Youth Haven Coldest Night of the Year

A banner year for Youth Haven's Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser as $70,207 has been raised for the cause.

This year's walk was held virtually throughout the month of February.

Youth Haven executive director Lucy Gowers says events such as this reflect the generosity of the community.

"So many individuals, families, community groups, churches and businesses stepped up to make this CNOY event the most successful," Gowers says. "It really speaks volumes when one considers the challenges faced by so many during the pandemic."

Money raised will be used to help at-risk youth, and homeless youth, in Barrie, Orillia, and across Simcoe County.
