Investigators say a 26-year-old Barrie man was shot dead Thursday afternoon while attending a funeral for another man.

York Regional Police say Ayub Hirisi Ali was gunned down at the Toronto Muslim Cemetery in Richmond Hill. There were about 60 people at the funeral when gunshots rang out.

Ali and another man were shot, and both men were rushed to hospital for treatment, but the Barrie resident was pronounced dead a short time later.

The funeral was for a 27-year-old man who was shot and killed outside a social club in Toronto early Tuesday morning.

No one has been arrested in connection with that shooting.

Police said they are looking for three male suspects in connection with the shooting at the cemetery.
