Live bat released in theatre during "The Batman" screening
Someone at a movie theatre in Austin, Texas, added to the ambiance by releasing a live bat during a screening of "The Batman."
Reports say someone was playing a prank and meant no harm.
When the audience noticed the bat flying around, the movie was paused, and animal control was brought in to make sure the animal and spooked humans weren't hurt.
The theatre had to be kept dark to lure the small crusader, so anyone who felt uncomfortable was asked to leave.
Otherwise, they could sit back and enjoy the show.
Most weren't bothered enough by the nocturnal creature and stayed to watch the rest of the movie.
