While some people love winter and all the activities that it brings, for many, its hibernation season. However, with spring just around the corner its time to start kicking it again and what better way than to grab some friends and enjoy some delicious sharaeble plates. Here are some of our favorite places to forgo the regular dinner options and load up with appetizers.
Redline Brewhouse
Let's kick this list off right in top gear. Redline Brewhouse has some fantastic shareable options including staples like spinach and artichoke dip, nachos loaded with meat and toppings, and baskets of both regular and sweet potato fries. Wash it all down with some locally brewed suds and you've got yourself a perfect evening out. Sundays are also half-price appetizers!
PIE
How could we make a list of the best shareables and not include pizza? While you definitely want to try PIE's salty balls (you heard that right), we think the best option is for everyone to order a pie and then mix and match slices with one another! Some of our favorites are the Cluck Norris Pie, the Sweet & Spicy Pie, and the St. Lucia Pie.
British Arms
Do you know how to make a night out enjoying some appetizers even better? How about with a free trivia night hosted by Town Trivia? Every Monday night head to British Arms and test your brainpower. The Beer Battered Mozerella Sticks, Crispy Dill Pickles, and Crab Apple Jackets are all deliciously sharable but might not last long once they hit the table!
Donaleigh's
If you're heading out on a Friday or Saturday night, chances are, Donaleigh's might already be on your itinerary. With an awesome atmosphere and live music every weekend, it's always a fun spot to check out with friends. What you might not know is that their late-night menu is absolutely stellar with tons of sharable options like Bruschetta with Feta, Emerald Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Irish poutine, and lots more.
The Farmhouse
Rustic and inviting, The Farmhouse is a lovely spot to gather for a social night out. Share some freshly shucked oysters, PEI mussels with smoked bacon and dill broth, or their special Farmhouse dip with grilled bread. Make sure to give one of their Honey Bee Elixir cocktails a try too like the delicious Hot Honey Toddy.
Malone's Pint House
You heard it here first, direct from Poultry World Magazine! Americans will chow down on a record 1.4 billion chicken...

With tons of shareable options from crab, spinach, and red pepper hummus dips to calamari, deep-fried pickles, and loaded potato skins, the only problem you're going to have is narrowing it down to just a couple things. Luckily, Malone's Pint House also has the Pig Out Platter with a little bit of everything so you don't have to choose!
Arabesque
You may not have seen this hidden downtown gem located just off of Dunlop Street but you definitely need to check it out. Arabesque is the perfect choice for a mid-day lunch to catch up with friends. Delicious Middle-Eastern dishes like Hummus dip, Baba Ghanoush, and Yalanjee will make it hard to not talk with your mouth full.
