Season Six of Black Mirror is on the horizon.

It's been three years since the last dystopian- sci-fi drama season.

Variety reports that the latest season will have more episodes than season five but still be longer, like a mini movie, with incredibly high production values.

Season five only had three episodes and starred some big names like Miley Cyrus, Topher Grace, and Andrew Scott.

Until recently, the show's fate was up in the air due to disputes between production companies.

Those have been settled, leaving Netflix free to air the show.

Near the beginning of the pandemic, Creator Charlie Brooker said, "At the moment, I don't know what stomach there would be for stories about societies falling apart, so I'm not working away on one of those."

Casting is underway. It's not known when production will begin.
