Boots & Hearts and Big Sky Music Festival are officially cancelled for this summer

Two major music festivals scheduled to take place at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds this summer have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Republic Live, the organizer for the Big Sky Festival and Boots and Hearts made the announcement because of the COVID-19 pandemic “remains a risk for all large-scale events.”

If you purchased tickets for the Big Sky Festival you will receive an automatic refund. Republic Live says past purchasers will receive first access to 2021 tickets and camping spots before the general onsale.

Tickets for Boots & Hearts, however, will be rolled over until 2021 if you choose.

“We will be honouring all 2020 festivals passes for Boots 2021 on Aug 5-8 to ensure fans can secure their current 2020 prices along offering a credit for those who choose to hang on to their tickets,” a media release stated.

2020 headliner Eric Church has already committed to playing the 2021 festival.

If you’d rather receive a refund for your 2020 tickets, the deadline to request your money back is 11:59 PM on June 1st. To request your refund, click here.
