Don't cruise with open booze, as charge laid against Bradford man

A reminder from South Simcoe Police that if you have alcohol in your vehicle, store it where it is not readily available, such as the trunk.

On Saturday night, police said a driver who was stopped at a R.I.D.E. spot check on County Road 27 in Bradford had multiple open containers of alcohol in his vehicle.

A 23-year-old from Bradford was charged under the Liquor Licence Act with driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor.

No other charges were laid.
