Bouquet toss turns into a brawl as women scramble for the symbolic floral arrangement

Catching the bouquet at a wedding remains a big deal for some people.

A wedding video of the ceremonial bouquet toss has gone viral after a few guests got into a brawl for the floral arrangement.

The video was taken in Ljubuški, southwest of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It shows your standard toss of the flowers, as three women lunge at it. Except every woman refuses to let go.

It looks like it's all fun and games at first until guests realize this is serious business.

Soon the flower petals are strewn on the floor, and guests are giving a very awkward laugh.

The video cuts out before the issue is resolved, but boy, I want to know how that ended.

While people online are mostly in agreement that the behaviour was uncalled for, there are a few good points.

One person said "Once they’re on the floor, it becomes a matter of principle to not let go."

Others are praising the competitive spirit of women, because this is a big deal.
