11-year-old boy turns in 'substantial' amount of cash: South Simcoe Police

If you are a missing some money, the cops have it.

South Simcoe Police are praising the honesty of a 11-year-old Kaiden who along with his mother Samantha were riding their scooters on a trail in Bradford on Sunday when they discovered what officers say was a substantial amount of cash.

The money was scattered along the trail and police say Kaiden wanted to make sure the cash was returned to its owner.

The boy and his mom dropped the money off at the South Simcoe Police detachment in Bradford.

"Thank you Kaiden and Samantha for being honest and doing the right thing!" police stated in a news release.

The owner must be able to describe the sum and denominations of the money.

The owner is asked to call the South Simcoe Police non-emergency number at 705-436-2141 or 905-775-3311.
