A police cruiser sustained some damage after Bracebridge OPP say they got several reports about a motorist's "concerning" driving behaviour.

Early Saturday morning, around 5:30, police were notified about the vehicle travelling south on Bethune Drive in Gravenhurst.

Officers located and tried to stop the vehicle, but according to OPP, the driver did not follow police instructions and minor damage was caused to one cruiser.

The suspect vehicle was eventually brought to a stop, say OPP.

They arrested and charged a 29-year-old from Gravenhurst with:

  • Dangerous Operation CC 320.13(1)
  • Flight from Peace Officer CC 320.17

He is scheduled for court in May.
