Two G2 drivers nabbed by Bracebridge OPP for stunt driving

30-day licence suspensions for both drivers

A pair of drivers will need their walking shoes.

Provincial police conducting Operation Impact nabbed two drivers for stunt driving in Muskoka on Saturday.

Around 10:30 a.m., OPP pulled over a vehicle on Highway 11 in Bracebridge that was clocked at 152 km/hr in a posted 100 km/hr zone. A 19-year-old male driver from Mulmur Township was charged with speeding and stunt driving.

At about the same time, police stopped a vehicle on Muskoka Road 169 in Muskoka Lakes Township. A young driver was clocked doing 154 km/hr in a posted 80 km/zone. Charges of stunt driving and speeding were laid.

Both G2 drivers had their licences suspended for 30-days and their vehicles impounded for two weeks.
