Collision into Bracebridge snowbank leads to impaired driving charges

Another driver has an impaired driving charge on their record after a collision on Thursday morning was answered to by Bracebridge OPP.

At 12:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash into a snowbank on Cedar Lane near Entrance Drive. The vehicle was eventually located at a restaurant on Depot Drive after it was freed before police arrived.

After investigating the circumstances of the incident, officers arrested a 29-year-old man from Burlington, charging him with impaired driving over the legal blood alcohol content limit.

He is set to appear in court in Bracebridge on March 3.
