Body found in Bradford canal, police investigating

South Simcoe Police is investigating after a body was discovered in the canal in Bradford.

Police say on Friday, April 15, around 1:30 p.m., they were called regarding the discovery of a body in the canal in the area of Canal Road between Simcoe Road and 5th Line.

According to officers, the coroner attended the scene and the body was transported to the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
