
A two-vehicle collision at Holland Street West and Langford Boulevard in Bradford turned into a drug-impaired driving charge.
South Simcoe Police say officers responded to the collision on Sunday evening and determined that one of the drivers was unable to produce a valid insurance slip and could not confirm insurance coverage.

During the investigation, police got a strong whiff of marijuana coming from one of the involved vehicles, and officers located a quantity of dried cannabis buds, along with drug paraphernalia containing residue of a suspected drug inside the car.
A 38-year-old Toronto man was charged with careless driving, operating a vehicle without insurance, driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available, and impaired driving.
The accused had his driver's licence suspended and his vehicle impounded. He has a court date next month.
