South Simcoe Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Bradford that resulted in serious injuries to one of the drivers.
Around 9 a.m. on Monday, emergency crews responded to a collision at the intersection of County Road 27 and Line 9.
"Upon police arrival, it was determined that a delivery van travelling eastbound collided with a transport truck travelling northbound. The impact caused the delivery van to bounce off of the transport truck and roll into the west side ditch, where it came to a stop. The delivery van driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance," police said in a news release on Thursday.
Later, the driver was transported by air ambulance to a Toronto hospital for treatment of injuries that police said were not life-threatening or life-altering.
The truck driver was not injured.
