Search warrant at Bradford home results in firearms seizure and five arrests

South Simcoe police charged five people and seized firearms after executing a search warrant at a home in Bradford.

On Monday, Feb. 6, officers say they, with the assistance of Barrie police, executed the search of the residence located in the area of Langford Boulevard and Holland Street West.

Four adults and one youth were arrested and charged with numerous firearms-related offences:

  • 22-year-old from Brooklin
  • 21-year-old from Newmarket
  • 22-year-old from Bradford
  • 35-year-old from Bradford
  • 14-year-old from Bradford

Police say they seized a Glock .40 caliber handgun with three overcapacity magazines and a Norinco M305 Semi-Automatic .308 rifle with an overcapacity magazine. Officers also seized a quantity of ammunition.

Three of the accused parties were held for bail hearings.
