An investigation into a structure fire on an island property in Haliburton in late summer has resulted in a charge of arson against a 47-year-old Bradford man.
Haliburton Highlands OPP say emergency services responded to a blaze on Sept. 10 on Echo Island on Kawagama Lake in the Township of Algonquin Highlands. The fire was determined to be suspicious and the investigation was taken over by police.
As a result of the investigation, police said the accused has been charged with arson and damage to property.
