A wild pursuit through a farmer's field in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Around 9 a.m. on Thursday, South Simcoe Police clocked a vehicle blasting through a 60-zone at 144 km/h on Line 5 between County Road 27 and Sideroad 5.
When the officer attempted a traffic stop, the driver took off instead.
From there, the vehicle tore into a farm field in an attempt to evade police.

As officers attempted to contain the vehicle, the driver reversed at high speed, crossing a ditch, and getting back onto the road to continue their escape between Line 5 and County Road 27.
At one point during the field trip, the vehicle lost its exhaust system.
Police called of the pursuit due to a risk to public safety.
The suspect vehicle was last seen heading south on Sideroad 5, south of Line 4 in Bradford.
It's described as a light-coloured Ford Escape, believed to be a 2008 to 2012 model, and it's missing its exhaust, meaning it would be very loud if it's still on the road.
