Brampton man facing trafficking charges after raid at Orillia home

Two others taken into custody but released unconditionally

An investigation into street-level drug dealing has lead to charges laid and a quantity of cocaine and fentanyl seized.

The Orillia OPP Community Street Crime Unit’s investigation led to a search warrant written up for a home on Atherley Road. Investigators went to the home Thursday to find three men, some illicit drugs, and a large knife.

All three were taken into custody, while police say only one was involved in any criminal activity. The 19-year-old Brampton man is facing charges including trafficking, possession of stolen property, and possession of a dangerous weapon.

The other two men were released unconditionally.
