Bold break-in to Alliston business, vape products stolen

A bold break-in at a business in Alliston is under investigation by Nottawasaga OPP.

Around 5 a.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to a report of a break-and-enter at a business located at 19 Young Street.

Investigators have determined that sometime between 4:20 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., two suspects pulled up in a pickup truck, backed up to the front door of the store, and used a hammer to smash the front glass door. Then, police say the culprits hooked a chain from the security bars of the door to the truck and yanked the door off its frame.

Once inside the store, police say the suspects grabbed about $2,000 worth of vape products and fled.

Police are encouraging residents and businesses to review their camera footage or dash cam for any suspicious activity that may be helpful in this investigation between August 2 2025 at 4:00 a.m., and 5:00 a.m., If you have any information in relation to this incident, please contact the Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122 Reference (E251030314).
