
A bold break-in at a business in Alliston is under investigation by Nottawasaga OPP.
Around 5 a.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to a report of a break-and-enter at a business located at 19 Young Street.
Investigators have determined that sometime between 4:20 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., two suspects pulled up in a pickup truck, backed up to the front door of the store, and used a hammer to smash the front glass door. Then, police say the culprits hooked a chain from the security bars of the door to the truck and yanked the door off its frame.
Once inside the store, police say the suspects grabbed about $2,000 worth of vape products and fled.
