Bridgerton style dating show brings back courtship
Swiping is out, and courtship is in, in the latest dating show.
NBC released the trailer for their “Bridgerton” themed dating show called “The Courtship.”
The concept is like that of dating shows past, where sixteen suitors compete for the affections of the bachelorette.
The main difference is that this one is all about chivalry and regality.
Everything from the wardrobe to dinners and dating activities will be of regency-style England.
And instead of waiting for things to get serious before meeting the parents, the parents will be front and centre talking their daughter through her decisions.
It premieres on NBC on March 6th.
Michael Che has list of demands from Kanye West
It's tough when you're stuck in the middle of your friends' relationship drama, but Saturday Night Live Host Michael Che has a handle on it.
Ye, formerly ( Kanye West) offered the cast member a raise if he stops working with Pete Davidson.
Ye's hasn't taken Davidsons's relationship with his ex, Kim Kardashian, very well.
As a result, Ye's has gone on social media blasting the comedian.
In his latest post, he offered Che a generous offer to leave the show.
"I'LL DOUBLE WHATEVER THEY PAYING YOU JUST SO YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK AT THAT PAWN EVER AGAIN BIG LOVE" wrote west.
Che had a great response saying he wouldn't leave the show unless he gets triple pay, full medical, a pair of size 12 Red October shoes, and some beats for his band 'The Slap Butts.'
Triple threat at this year's Oscars
After a few years without a host, the Oscars will have three very funny women leading the award ceremony this year.
Comedians Amy Schumer, Regina Hall, and Wanda Sykes are finalizing the details to see them host the March 27th ceremony.
Reports say each woman will host an hour of the three-hour show.
Schumer is an accomplished comedian and stars in her hit Comedy Central show "Inside Amy Schumer."
Regina Hall got her film start in the "Scary Movie" films, along with "Little," "The Hate U Give," and "Girls Trip.
Wanda Sykes is a huge name in the comedy world, appearing in countless movies and television, including "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Black-ish."
Ratings for the award show have steadily declined in recent years, with 2021 being a record low.
The academy is trying to bring viewers back with new hosts and a new fan favourite category.
Viewers can vote on their favourite film through social media, and the winner will be announced during the broadcast.
