One dad on TikTok is making sure that his daughter has the best experience for her first book fair.

@theblackbarrys recently revealed how tough it was for kids who didn't have enough money to splurge at the book fair.

"If you were a broke kid like me the Book Fair was a f**ck!ng" nightmare" he explained. "I had to watch all the kids watch the scratch & sniff erasers and book marks"

He then makes it clear that his daughter will not have to endure the same fate and can get anything she wants.

He loaded her school account with $200 dollars and told his daughter she can get everything she circled on the catalgue.

Later, his daughter returned from school with all her goods, and she didn't need that much.

She told her dad she only got three books, including Mario Kart, Bluey, and The Old Lady Eating a Worm, and she spent only $20.

He playfully tells her he's going to the book fair with her to show her how it's done since she didn't get any accessories.

"Mommy and I are going with you tomorrow to show you how to shop properly at the book fair. 'Cause I couldn't do it, so I'll show you," he said.

The video has gotten over 15 thousand views and has people reliving their book fair days.

Comments included "Last book fair I gave my son $250 for books, he bought himself and a friend some, healed a part of my inner child. This year we're sponsoring 2 more kids."

"Child of immigrants here, we never could afford it, then when my mom remarried to probably the best stepdad ever, he let me go crazy, and I think I cried cause I love reading."

"As a child who couldn't do book fair. My kids get whatever they want now. It's my sons last year he is able to do it before Jr High. But my daughter is in grade 1. I tell you she's gonna be so spoiled."
