The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a homeowner in Tiny Township reported the theft of five bronze-coloured garden statues worth thousands of dollars.

Police say they were swiped from a residence in the Cedar Ridge development over the winter.
The property owners recently returned home and discovered they were gone.

The statues range in size from 39 to 49 inches and weigh about 100 lbs.
The owners told police the statues are very sentimental to them and were created from a process known as lost wax casting.
