Canada's Wonderland is gearing up for opening day on May 3rd by launching its recruitment campaign to hire around 4,000 seasonal workers.
Positions are spread across various departments and are now open for applications, park officials said in a release.
“We’re proud to offer a fun and rewarding place to work,” said Phil Liggett, general manager.
“Whether it be for a summer job, a position to kick-start a career or an enjoyable part-time placement after retirement, we have something for everyone. We offer competitive wages, amazing perks and an opportunity to make lifelong friends and develop essential leadership skills.”
The positions cover a range of areas including operations, food and beverage, lifeguarding, security, guest services, retail, maintenance, and park services.
Applicants as young as 15 years old can apply, and both seasonal and full-time roles are available.
Per the release, employee benefits include free access to the park and water park during off hours, complimentary tickets for friends and family, access to exclusive events, and discounts on food and merchandise.
This recruitment drive is part of Cedar Fair Entertainment's larger plan to hire about 35,000 seasonal workers across its parks in 2024. Hiring efforts will occur across all U.S. and Canadian parks from February 17th to 24th.
