Closures & Cancellations - Dec 30
- Severe weather across parts of the region is delaying the Simcoe County Paramedic response. Crews are prioritizing life-threatening emergencies, so lower-priority calls may take longer. Some areas not directly impacted may also see delays as resources are redirected.
- All 55+ programs at Parkview Community Centre and Allandale Rec Centre are cancelled today (Tuesday) due to inclement weather. All Barrie recreational facilities remain open.
- LINX Transit Service Delays - Snowfall and poor visibility are impacting travel today. Some roads remain untreated, and delays of up to 25 minutes are occurring on multiple lines.
- Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit - Orillia office - will be closed at 3pm today
- Innisfil recreation centres will close at 3 pm today (Dec 30). The three branches of the Innisfil IdeaLAB&Library will also close at 3 pm.
