Barrie police say there was significant damage to a home on Birkhall Place after it was struck by a car.
Police were alerted about the collision in the city's south east around 11:30 Thursday night.
There was a passenger in the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Police charged a 24-year-old man with impaired driving.
He has a court date next month.
