Ontario Provincial Police have laid a slew of drug and weapons charges against three people from the Greater Toronto Area after officers on patrol noticed 'suspicious activity' Sunday night on Memorial Avenue in Orillia.

Police say they spotted individuals standing near an outgoing mailbox, using flashlights.

Upon initiating an investigation, officers observed an illegal edged weapon in plain view and detected the odour of cannabis coming from a nearby rental vehicle.
