Charges Laid After Stroud Trailer Set Ablaze

Homes, Vehicles, Damaged By Heat

A Stroud man is facing an Arson charge after a trailer fire in Stroud.

Fire crews were called out to Victoria Street around 8:30 Sunday morning, to find a trailer on fire there. Nobody was hurt from the fire, but heat from the blaze did damage to two neighbouring homes and four vehicles.

A 61-year-old man has since been charged with Arson, while South Simcoe Police say he also faces two counts of Mischief Endangering Life.
