Chemical Spray Used During Gravenhurst Assault
Suspect And Victim Know Each Other, Criminal Charge Laid
One person is facing charges after an assault said to have involved a spray to the face.
The OPP say a woman was walking along Muskoka Road in Gravenhurst around 4:30 Friday afternoon, when a vehicle stopped beside her. It’s alleged a woman jumped out and sprayed the victim in the face with a type of chemical, then assaulted her.
Officers say the victim and suspect know each other, making it easy to track down a suspect. A 22-year-old is facing an Assault charge and will be in Bracebridge court late next month to speak to a judge.
