Child Pornography Charges Laid in Tay Township
Devices Seized from Victoria Harbour Home
A Victoria Harbour man is facing charges in connection to a Child Pornography investigation.
The OPP say a two-month long investigation lead to the execution of a search warrant at a Victoria Harbour home late last week.
A 54-year-old man faces three counts of Possession of Child Pornography and two of Making it Available.
“Our reality today is that every person around the world with a sexual interest in children has immediate access to any child has access to the internet. It’s like they are sitting next to our kids even though they could be across the globe. We as parents and community members have to know who their children are interacting with online. These offenders are very manipulative. If parents are not engaged – they will never see them coming until it’s too late”

During the February 21th search, police seized six electronic devices for further examination. The suspect will be in Midland court early next month.
