No lights on the front and back of an SUV driving on First Street in Collingwood early Sunday prompted Ontario Provincial Police to pull over the vehicle to see what was going on.

During a talk with the driver, police say officers spotted drugs within plain view.

The vehicle was searched, and police allege they found 55 grams of suspected cocaine concealed in a Tostitos salsa container. A large amount of cash and drug paraphernalia were also seized.

A 48-year-old Collingwood man has been charged with drug trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, driving without proper headlights, and operating a vehicle without insurance.
