Cool Off With “Hot Summer Nights”
Bring the kids and soak up the fun!
The Barrie Fire and Emergency Service (BFES) is making it easy to beat the heat this summer with “Hot Summer Nights“. Not only is it educational and tons of fun, but it’s also a perfect example of Barrie’s community-driven spirit.
This summertime tradition has the BFES setting up shop in a local park, offering up lifesaving tips, hands-on activities, fire safety information, and fire truck tours! They will also have a fire hose shower to help cool yourself off and Dominos Pizza will be on site selling $1 slices with all proceeds going to charity.
Hot Summer Nights is taking place several times over the summer, running from 6-8pm on the following dates:
- July 18: Shear Park
- July 25: Pringle Park
- August 1: Sunnidale Park
- August 8: Painswick Park
- August 15: Batteaux Park
- August 21: Lawnchair Luminata, Meridian Place
- August 22: Lawnchair Luminata [Rain Date]
