Cops Hunting for Barrie Bagel Store Bandit

Cash Register Contents Taken In Overnight Smash and Grab

Police are hoping you can point them in the right direction in the search for a B&E suspect.

Just before 1:00 Wednesday morning, Barrie Police responded to an alarm at the Great Canadian Bagel on Bayfield St., arriving to find the front door smashed in. It appears the contents of the cash register were taken.

Video surveillance cameras were able to provide police with a glimpse of the suspect, described as:

  • male
  • white
  • 5’9″
  • wearing black pants, grey shirt with a red strip under the arm, black gloves and a blue and yellow baseball-style hat.
