Three-vehicle crash north of Washago leaves motorcycle riders seriously injured, one airlifted

A three-vehicle collision on Highway 11 northbound north of Washago left the riders of a motorcycle with serious injuries.

Ontario Provincial Police say the collision happened around 2 p.m. on Thursday at Coopers Falls Road and involved a motorcycle, a minivan and a pickup truck towing a trailer.

The motorcycle driver and a passenger were seriously injured, and the driver was later airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre.

No other injuries were reported.

Highway 11 northbound remains closed at County Road 169.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage is asked to call the Orillia OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
