Fire crews are back on scene of the Beiers Road wildland fire in Gravenhurst today.
According to a post on X by the Gravenhurst Fire Service, no fire growth was observed overnight.

At one point, the blaze was estimated to be around 5 hectares.

Firefighters were able to suppress a wildland fire in Gravenhurst from further spread overnight and were to be back on scene Tuesday.
The fire remains active, according to Gravenhurst Fire Service, in a post to X.
The blaze is estimated to be around 5 hectares in size and is located in very rough terrain.
Smoke will likely be prevalent for the next couple of days.
Beiers Road will be closed today between Arthur Schulz Road and Southwood Road for tanker shuttle operations.

Gravenhurst Fire Service says their crews are battling a large wildland fire on the north side of Beiers Road.
Firefighters from Ramara, Severn and Muskoka Lakes are providing mutual aid.

The public is being asked to avoid the area as water tanker shuttle is underway.
An aircraft with the Ministry of Natural Resources is assisting with water drops, according to Gravenhurst fire officials.
