Curbside pickup at Springwater Township Public Library begins Tuesday, June 9

Elmvale and Midhurst Branches first out of the gate, Minesing Branch starts June 11

Curbside pick up at Springwater Township Public Library-Elmvale and Midhurst Branches-begins Tuesday, June 9, then at the Minesing Branch on Thursday, June 9, and pickup is by appointment only.

Holds can be placed through the the library website, through emails or contact the Elmvale, Midhurst and Minesing locations during curbside hours.

Curbside hours are as follows:

  • Elmvale and Midhurst: Tuesdays and Thursdays – 12 -6 p.m. Saturdays 12 – 3 p.m.
  • Minesing: Thursdays – 2 -6 p.m.

Pick-up is by appointment only. Once the holds are available, staff will be contacting you to set-up an appointment time.

The Library branches remain closed at this time. In addition to the curbside service, the Library continues to offer a number of online resources including eBooks and downloadable audiobooks, research databases, online storytimes and more. https://www.springwater.library.on.ca for more details.

All materials currently checked-out are due June 30 and that materials are returned to the book drops where they will be quarantined for three days before being checked in. No late fines will be charged while materials are in quarantine.

“Springwater Library staff have been working very hard behind the scenes while the branches have been closed. We are excited to once again provide physical materials to our residents,” says Library CEO Jodie Delgado. “We have implemented measures to keep everyone safe and are following a phased approach based upon provincial guidelines.”
