Dave Grohl has some mad BBQ skills and recently put them to good use.
During last week's California winter storm, the Foo Fighters front man volunteered his skills for hundreds of people in need.
In support of the "Hope the Mission" Trebek Center in Northridge, California, he provided the food and spent the next 24 hours fussing over it to ensure it was perfect.
He and other BBQ experts took turns dodging hail stones to provide an epic feast.
In an interview with "Today," a spokesperson for the shelter says he arrived on the afternoon of February 22 and didn't leave.
"The meat didn't go into the smoker until midnight that night because he's like, 'Oh, it has to season, and it has to do this. He's definitely a craftsman when it comes to that, and then he spent the night." she says.
After he got some sleep in the shelter's parking lot, he served up food the next afternoon and schmoozed with fans.
And he didn't hesitate to show off the fall-off-the-bone ribs and to die for roast.
