A 28-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 26 in Springwater Township, near Edenvale.
Ontario Provincial Police say emergency crews responded around 6:40 Tuesday morning to Highway 26 near Strongville Road for a collision involving a motor vehicle and a dump truck.
As a result of the collision, a resident of Wasaga Beach was killed. The driver of the truck was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Highway 26 remains closed between Culham Road and Rainbow Valley Road West.
The investigation is ongoing.
