Speaking to CP24, Doug Ford announced Thursday his government will pursue its legal challenge of the federal carbon tax. This comes on the heels of the Federal election win for Justin Trudeau’s liberals. When question about the status of the challenge, Ford told CP24 “we will see it through.”

Recap. Ontario’s top court struck down the Ford government’s case against the tax back in June. The top court said the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act was in fact “constitutionally sound.” That was followed up with an announcement from Ford, saying his government would appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada and were willing to spend $30 million to do so.
