Fake Drake and The Weeknd song pulled from streaming platforms: The artists had nothing to do with the AI generated song

What's Trending with MJ

Oh oh. A new song by Drake and The Weeknd recently went viral; the problem is that neither recording artist had anything to do with it.

The song "Heart on my sleeve" was an AI-generated tune using deep fakes from each artist.

The song was posted to Tik Tok on Saturday by an artist named "Ghostwriter," and was viewed nearly 10 million times and received about 250 thousand Spotify streams.

Work is underway to remove it from all streaming platforms, but some versions still exist.

This is hardly the first time an AI-generated song has made its way to fans.

Last month, a deepfake of Eminem rapping about cats was uploaded to YouTube.

Recently a cover of Beyonce's "Cuff It" featuring Rihanna was reportedly produced using ChatGPT, an AI program.

Drake and The Weeknd have yet to respond.
